A bit about the Bristol Buddhist Centre…
The Centre offers a busy and varied programme of meditation, Buddhism and yoga classes and courses. The Centre is part of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order and many of the classes are taught by members of the Order. There are currently approximately forty members of the Western Buddhist Order living in and around Bristol, 70-80 mitras (friends) of the Centre and a large wider sangha of local people who drop into events. There has been a Buddhist Centre owned and run by FWBO Bristol since 1981. The Centre has been at its current location for the past 12 years.
